Pea Ridge Farm
Pea Ridge Farm is one of the very few farms in the Upstate growing apples organically – we do not use any pesticides or fungicides. We are located on 60 acres, just north of Six Mile. We have a number of farming projects underway, including keeping bee hives, raising goats (for goat milk and yogurt), raising two family cows (whom we hope to breed in the near future), and harvesting eggs from our more than 30 chickens.
In the past three years, we have broadened our horizons, planting more than 200 apple trees. We are focusing on disease-resistant varieties, thus enabling us to grow our apples without any pesticides or fungicides.
On an occasional basis, we also sell eggs!
