Watermelons For Water
The Bradford Watermelon. A One Hundred Seventy Year Old Heritage Water Melon. This is a Melon with a story! A young sustainable grower found a sealed mason jar of white seeds in his family’s old farmstead house. Much research ensued to find out if these seeds were indeed the seeds of the Bradford Watermelons, that his family grew back in the early 1800’s. It was thought that these genetics were forever lost. Now a resurgence of these watermelons of old has returned for the first time in ages. Fields were planted with care and the result is the best tasting watermelon you may ever eat.
