Welcome to the Carolina Foothills Locally Grown weblog. Mainly this is a collection of e-mails that we send out each week to kick off the market, but also tells the tale of our little market.

Growers/producers may list their available products at any time now. To be available for each weeks market they must be posted no later than 8:00pm on Friday.

The site will be opened for shopping Friday evening at 9:00pm and remain open for shopping until 4 pm Monday afternoon.

Growers will drop-off their orders from 3:30 to 4:00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday. Customers can pick-up their products from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday (depending on pick up site).

Customers and growers please double check your drop-off and pick-up locations. Customers, you can specify your pick-up location when you order.

The Legendary Bradford Watermelons!

The resurgance of the Legendary Heritage Bradford Watermelon offered by the Bradford Family as a mission to raise money to buy well drills to provide clean drinking water to peoples in desperate need. Learn more through the website listed on the Growers Page and on FaceBook, “Watermelons for Water”.

Dr. Bradshaw of Bradshaw Farm is offering his free-ranging Heritage Narragansett Turkey’s fully dressed for the up and coming holidays. Of course they will be roaming free and growing big until that time comes so order your turkey and come and visit them! Listed delivery dates may change.

We want to Welcome Barn Yard Goodies with her healthy Dog and Horse treats. Makes me wish I were a dog…well almost. (laughter)

Take a look at Chef Bill’s* Clemson Bird Feeders. * Really clever design and squirrel proof! If you’re a Clemson Fan, this is something I’m sure you don’t have yet!

Baird Family Farm is back with the lettuces and green as is Wild Earth Gardens & Herbals.

Mountain Heritage Farm-ette has got some New products listed so take a look.

The market opens a bit early this evening and will remain open through Monday till noon. Pick up at the Lila Doyle Center in Seneca Starting at 4:30.
