The Weblog

Welcome to the Carolina Foothills Locally Grown weblog. Mainly this is a collection of e-mails that we send out each week to kick off the market, but also tells the tale of our little market.

Growers/producers may list their available products at any time now. To be available for each weeks market they must be posted no later than 8:00pm on Friday.

The site will be opened for shopping Friday evening at 9:00pm and remain open for shopping until 4 pm Monday afternoon.

Growers will drop-off their orders from 3:30 to 4:00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday. Customers can pick-up their products from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday (depending on pick up site).

Customers and growers please double check your drop-off and pick-up locations. Customers, you can specify your pick-up location when you order.

Greetings ,

Today is the last day of regular Friday markets at Patrick Square. Some other markets are ending soon. This is a good time for you to turn your attentions towards our farmers products here on Carolina Foothills . Most will have year round veggies as well as all the other staples in your diets.

And it’s do easy to choose what you want from as many farmers as you like. Meander through the market and see what’s available. Ordering starts this evening at nine.

Wild Earth Gardens has beautiful Sweet Potatoes this week as well as a Queen of Greens salad mix that is really good!

Leah Lake Farm has lots of Salads and Greens to choose from as well as Lovely Flower Bouquets.

Sylvan Falls Mills Gluten Free Chocolate Muffins are a hit at my house! My son eats two every morning for breakfast. And it’s wholesome Organic goodness fit for kids!

Oh, and Cocoa from Jumpin Goat Coffee Company. Finest ground Cocoa beans with Vanilla Bean. Enjoy!

I wish I could name all the farms on here and the goodness they offer from the products they grow and make. You’ll have to look and enjoy that for yourself.

Thank you for supporting your farmers!

P.S. Any orders coming from Pickens /Easley will be contacted snd we’ll arrange a meeting spot since we are still looking for somewhere a bit more permanent. If you know of place, please contact the market manager. Thanks!
