The Weblog
Welcome to the Carolina Foothills Locally Grown weblog. Mainly this is a collection of e-mails that we send out each week to kick off the market, but also tells the tale of our little market.
Growers/producers may list their available products at any time now. To be available for each weeks market they must be posted no later than 8:00pm on Friday.
The site will be opened for shopping Friday evening at 9:00pm and remain open for shopping until 4 pm Monday afternoon.
Growers will drop-off their orders from 3:30 to 4:00 pm Tuesday & Wednesday. Customers can pick-up their products from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday (depending on pick up site).
Customers and growers please double check your drop-off and pick-up locations. Customers, you can specify your pick-up location when you order.

Good Afternoon Locavores
February is finishing with a deep freeze and March will be coming like a lion. While your farmers stuggle on with adversity the bakers have their chance bask in warmth and provide all manner of delicious baked goods for your enjoyment.
We are happy to have Crescent Moon Farm and Sylvan Falls Mill keeping the Hearth Fires warm and yummy smells of bread baking.
Check out their farm description and philosophy on Our Growers page.
Chicken Eggs are increasing. Happy Berry and Wild Earth Gardens & Herbals are your sources for eggs this week. Look for Duck Eggs coming soon.
Remember the we have an Herbalist that offers tinctures, teas, and healing salves to help you weather these temperatures. Check out Wild Earth Gardens & Herbals.
Have a great weekend enjoy fresh local food.

Weblog Entry
Hello,
Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up,
I spent last week having issues with my bank going in circles.
I was forced to close my old account and open a new one today. I checked my bank statement hoping to see if everything cleared but honestly there were several items from 2 weeks ago that I couldn’t find…..
If anyone is still holding a check I have written PLEASE bring this to my attention and I will rewrite a new check under the new account.
Also, if anyone wrote me a check and an issue arises concerning it and cashing please bring this to my attention as well.
Thank You,
Susan.
Sorry guys, I was assured when I opened this account everything was fine and no problems would arise when I voiced my original concerns but clearly I was misinformed.
